At the end of 2021, Bremen’s senate adopted the social participation and diversity framework concept. This constitutes a new integration concept for the state of Bremen. The concept’s objective is to boost equal participation for all citizens of Bremen and Bremerhaven in social, political, and economic life across 13 areas of activity.
The area of “Health, Care, and the Elderly” is primarily the responsibility of the Senator for Health, Women, and Consumer Protection (SGFV). The SGFV has implemented numerous measures aiming to promote multicultural awareness within the healthcare system while removing barriers to accessing health measures.
